Lumia Care is seeking an experienced leader to drive the growth and success of our Rural and Remote Nursing Workforce division.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with genuine influence. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, Nursing Workforce, you will lead a high-performing recruitment team, strengthen client partnerships across Australia and shape the future of healthcare delivery in regional, rural and remote communities.

About the Opportunity
As Rural & Remote Manager, you'll take ownership of an established portfolio while identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll work closely with healthcare providers, government agencies and community organisations to ensure critical nursing services reach the communities that need them most.
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of Recruitment Consultants
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
• Drive accountability, engagement and achievement of team goals
• Support career development and succession planning

Business Growth

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the Rural & Remote portfolio
• Identify new client partnerships, tenders and market opportunities
• Expand Lumia Care's presence across regional Australia
• Collaborate with executive leaders to support broader business objectives

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build trusted relationships with key healthcare clients
• Conduct client visits and maintain executive-level partnerships
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and workforce outcomes
• Act as a senior ambassador for the Lumia Care brand

Commercial & Operational Leadership

• Manage portfolio performance, revenue and profitability
• Partner with the COO to achieve growth targets and budget outcomes
• Ensure recruitment, compliance and workforce standards are maintained
• Oversee workforce planning to meet client demand

About You
You are a commercially minded leader with a passion for people, performance and healthcare.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience leading recruitment, workforce or healthcare teams
• Strong business development and relationship management skills
• Experience driving growth, profitability and operational performance
• The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership style
• Knowledge of healthcare, nursing workforce or staffing solutions highly regarded
