ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will:

• Engage in a wide variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Appear at pre-hearing conferences and directions hearings.
• Draft legal documents, including Statements of Claim, Affidavits, and briefs to Counsel.
• Conduct legal research and provide detailed advice to clients.
• Prepare cost estimates and calculate costs according to scale.
• Attend mediations in Supreme and County Court proceedings.
• Manage your own files in accordance with court timetables.
• Record time and prepare billing.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and law graduates.
• Contribute to business development, marketing activities, and maintaining legal precedents.

ABOUT YOU

You have:

• 2-3 years post-admission experience (PAE) in litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A commercial mind, thrive in fast-paced environments, and an ability to work independently.
