We are currently assisting a highly regarded boutique law firm with a strong reputation in commercial and property law to appoint a lawyer to join their growing team.

Based on the city fringe, this firm offers expert legal services across retail and commercial leasing, property transactions, and general commercial matters. Their client base includes local and international businesses, property developers, and commercial landlords.

About the Role

This is a broad and hands-on position suited to a commercially minded lawyer seeking variety and autonomy. You will work closely with experienced principals across:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial and retail leases
• Managing commercial and residential property transactions
• Advising on property development and due diligence
• Preparing and reviewing a range of commercial contracts
• Supporting clients on broader commercial matters
• Contributing to client relationship management and business development

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–6 years’ post-admission experience in property and/or commercial law
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Commercial acumen and confident client-facing abilities
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently
• A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
