ABOUT THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity exists for a property lawyer to join a high-performing Melbourne-based team with a strong pipeline of development and transactional work. You will advise on a diverse range of property matters, working across the full lifecycle of transactions from acquisition through to development and ongoing asset management.

This role offers a balance of transactional, advisory and project-based work, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and build strong client relationships.

You will:

• Advise on acquisitions and disposals across commercial, retail and mixed-use assets
• Support development matters including residential and commercial projects
• Draft and negotiate a range of property and related agreements
• Advise on commercial and retail leasing matters
• Assist with property-related aspects of financing and structuring arrangements
• Provide general advisory support across property transactions and projects

ABOUT YOU

You will have:

• Approximately 3-8 years' post-admission experience in property law
• Experience across commercial property, development and/or leasing
• A background in private practice
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• A commercial mindset and ability to manage matters with autonomy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
