ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to join a respected boutique firm on a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. You will work across a broad mix of leasing, property and commercial matters, supporting a diverse client base including landlords, developers and private investors.

The role offers genuine responsibility, strong client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative and sustainable environment.

You will:

• Draft, review and negotiate retail, commercial and industrial leases
• Advise on leasing matters including renewals, variations and general portfolio management
• Assist with property transactions including acquisitions, disposals and conveyancing matters
• Support property development work including subdivisions and mixed-use projects
• Draft and advise on commercial agreements, including joint ventures and general business arrangements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and practical advice

ABOUT YOU

You will have:

• At least 4 years' post-admission experience in property and/or commercial law
• Strong experience in leasing (preferred but not essential)
• Exposure to property transactions and general commercial matters
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
• A commercial and solutions-focused mindset
• A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team
