ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded taxation practice known for its involvement in some of the country’s most complex and strategic tax matters. The role offers a broad mix of advisory, transactional and dispute resolution work, supporting a client base that includes corporates, high-net-worth individuals, private businesses and public interest organisations.

You will:

• Provide strategic advice on complex income tax and indirect tax matters
• Support large-scale public and private transactions, restructures and investments
• Act in significant ATO audits and tax disputes
• Advise on matters involving trusts, private wealth, corporate structures and international tax
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and practice groups
• Engage directly with clients, counsel, and tax officials

ABOUT YOU

You will have:

• 2–4 years’ post-admission experience in taxation law
• Proven experience advising on a range of tax matters, including public and private group transactions
• A strong academic background and commercial mindset
• A genuine interest in tax law and strategic problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a high-performing team
• Confidence working with clients and building strong relationships
