Title: Safety Manager
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (Travel ~20%)
Compensation: $ + Truck/Allowance + Benefits

About the Role We’re hiring a Safety Manager to strengthen our field safety program and mentor a growing team of safety coordinators and interns. This role is hands-on — about 80% of your time will be spent in the field across active job sites, supporting crews, conducting inspections, and driving continuous safety improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead on-site safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance checks
• Conduct field training sessions on excavation, confined space, trenching, and equipment safety
• Deliver new-hire orientations and OSHA 10/30-hour courses
• Coach and mentor entry-level safety team members
• Promote a proactive, positive, and inclusive safety culture across all project sites

What You Bring

• Proven experience in construction safety within heavy civil, site development, or underground utilities
• Solid knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards and field safety best practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills — able to connect with field crews and management alike
• Certifications preferred but not required: CHST, CSP, OSHA 500, OSHA 30
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
