Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join a well-established, family-led civil construction and land development company in San Antonio. This is a full-time, office-based role for a professional with a strong background in civil projects including paving, utilities, concrete, and underground work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Request and review project plans, specifications, bid quantities, geotechnical reports, and other relevant documents.
• Analyze bid documents, including drawings, schedules, mandatory pre-bids, insurance, bonds, and special specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure accurate, competitive bids.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and review cost history for projects.
• Prepare and pre-review bids with the estimating leadership team, including managing addendums and substitutions.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages and industry trends to support the bidding process.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of civil construction estimating experience.
• Proven experience in grading, utilities, paving, drainage, or other civil infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Proficient in HCSS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, coachable, team-oriented, and able to mentor others.
• Stable work history; candidates with frequent job changes must provide context.

Location & Work Environment:

• 100% office-based in San Antonio, TX.
• Standard office hours (Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm).
