Location: Jacksonville, FL
Position: Asphalt Superintendent

We’re looking for an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to lead paving crews and manage day-to-day operations on complex highway and site development projects.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years in asphalt materials, methods, maintenance, and equipment operation
• 3+ years as a Paving Superintendent, preferably on DOT projects
• High school diploma/GED preferred (trade experience valued)
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong collaboration skills – no “know-it-alls”
• Good tenure in previous roles

Responsibilities:

• Arrange and manage work for one or more paving crews
• Coordinate activities of crews spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt
• Provide on-site leadership, communication, and coordination between clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and crew
• Plan, schedule, and oversee field operations, material control, and personnel
• Maintain MOT certifications
