Are you an early-career engineer looking to grow in construction project management and cost engineering? This office-based role provides hands-on experience with a wide range of civil and heavy highway projects, including city, county, and reclamation work, with project sizes up to $67M. You’ll support the Operations Manager with estimates, quantities, and reporting while gaining insight into the full lifecycle of large-scale construction projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare monthly estimates and track project quantities
• Build and maintain spreadsheets and cost reports
• Support project teams with budgeting and data analysis
• Shadow senior operations leadership to learn processes and decision-making
• Assist with office-based project management tasks

Who We’re Looking For:

• 1–5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
• Familiar with Excel and Microsoft Office (must-have)
• Experience with HCSS HeavyJob / HeavyBid or Vista is a plus
• AutoCAD experience a bonus, but not required
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a support role

Work Schedule & Benefits:

• Office-based, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., ~45 hours/week
