Job Description: Assistant Superintendent

A well-established construction company with a strong presence in North Carolina and South Carolina, seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent to join our client's team. Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing and managing construction projects, including healthcare, higher education, commercial, athletic facilities, mission-critical, and municipal/government projects.
• Support project management tasks using tools such as Procore and MS Project for effective project documentation and coordination.
• Work closely alongside a senior superintendent to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on all projects.
• Support client relationship management to foster repeat business.
• Assist in managing complex project specifications and ensure compliance with all requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in construction, with a preference for candidates with medical and healthcare project experience.
• Familiarity with managing complex projects with diverse and complicated specifications.
• Demonstrated loyalty and tenure, supported by references from current superintendents or project managers.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• College degree not required.
• Experience with joint ventures (non-pull) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 annually
• Truck Allowance: Dependent on experience
• 401k Match: Available
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks
• Per Diem: Up to $3,000 per month, based on housing situation
• Bonus: Performance-based, historically 10-15% of base salary
• Additional Benefits: Company laptop and cell phone provided
