Project Manager – Civil Construction (Metro Atlanta)Position Overview:

• A well-established civil construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee site development projects, including grading, underground utilities, and turnkey construction for single-family, multifamily, and commercial sites. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of experience, excels at client relationship management, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Project Oversight: Manage 1-2 projects depending on size and phase, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Client Relations: Engage with clients through project events, business meetings, and networking activities such as golfing, fishing, and shooting events.
• Change Management: Handle change orders, pay applications, invoice approvals, RFIs, and submittals.
• Field & Office Coordination: Split time between the field (75%) and office (25%), ensuring seamless project execution.
• Estimating & Bidding Support: Collaborate with estimators to review bids and ensure alignment with company capabilities.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Bluebeam for project planning and execution. Transitioning to Foundation for accounting.

• Project Types: Site development for residential, multifamily, and commercial projects (medical office buildings, shopping centers, etc.).
• Project Values: Ranging from $50K to $10M with varying durations from two weeks to 24 months.

• 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction (grading, utilities, site work).
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and general contractor software.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and client relationships.
• Experience working with developers and general contractors.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.
• Business Development skills.

• Location: Metro Atlanta – Smyrna to Kennesaw area (Office based in Marietta, GA)
• Travel: No travel required.

• Salary: Up to $125K base
• 401(k) match: 4% after six months
• Bonus potential
• Company Vehicle: Allowance up to $1,150/month for management (includes maintenance, tires, and fuel)
