We are recruiting for a Trained Quantity Surveyor, with experience of planning the pricing for a range of Maintenance projects. 
 
Salary: £51,900

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be involved in pricing of scope works to support change, lifecycle planning and the Annual Maintenance Plan. 
• You will also, review contractor's quotes, tender returns and work estimates to substantiate or challenge value for money.
• Prepares ROM costings based on pricing methodologies and historic contractor prices for defined Scopes of Work.
• Delivers strong commercial approach to accurately estimate and quantify Scopes of work by reviewing the work ensuring all elements accounted for.
• Undertakes quantitative analysis to compare ROMs against market.
• Support the updating of rates in the asset planning software based on market returns.
• Supporting  estimates in their production of the Annual Maintenance plan

Experience & Skills Required:

• Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline preferably with a professional membership eg, CIBSE or CIOB.
• Understand pricing in construction and where to find and interpret available data
• Current knowledge of building regulations
• Site Managers or a Junior Building Surveyors may also be considered
