Job Summary:
 
Granite Works Stone Design is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Support team member to join our growing company. This position involves assisting with inventory management, handling stone materials, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in stone handling, inventory control, and a strong commitment to maintaining a well-organized and safe work environment.
 
Pay Range:
 
$18 – $22 per hour (Wage Contingent on Experience)

• Assist with the organization and management of warehouse inventory, including raw materials and finished stone products.
• Safely handle, store, and move stone slabs and fabricated pieces within the warehouse.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and help track stock levels to support production and installation schedules.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials for shipments or deliveries.
• Support the team with daily operations, including keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Help prepare stone materials for fabrication, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
• Operate overhead crane, tow motors, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
• Communicate with the fabrication team to ensure smooth flow of materials and accurate inventory counts.
• Ensure all safety protocols and company guidelines are followed during material handling and warehouse operations.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

• Experience in a warehouse environment or similar environment is preferred.
• Prior experience working with cranes, heavy stone materials, or in a stone-related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy stone materials and equipment safely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with minimal incidents in the last three years (for travel to job sites if needed).

• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy stone slabs and fabricated pieces regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work in varying warehouse and fabrication shop conditions.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment with occasional outdoor duties.
