Location: Pembrokeshire, onsite
HOURS: Full time, 10 / 12 hour shifts, days and nights
Type: Temporary
Contract length: Estimated 2 weeks, starting Monday 14th September – earlier start dates may be required
Our client: Our client, based in the Oil & Gas industry in Pembrokeshire, are looking for experienced Fireguards to support their upcoming shutdown work.
Job Description/ The role: The Fireguard will be responsible for supporting site safety during shutdown activities, acting as a fire watch and safety observer and ensuring work areas remain safe and compliant with site procedures.
Responsibilities: - Act as a Fireguard and safety observer during shutdown activities.
- Monitor work areas for potential fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a constant watch during hot works and other relevant activities.
- Follow all site safety procedures and instructions.
- Report any hazards or concerns to the relevant site personnel.
- Work effectively as part of the wider site team.
What is required from you: - Previous Fireguard experience is preferred.
- Fireguards with BA certificates are preferred.
- Own transport is essential.
- CCNSG or CSCS is essential.
- Able to work 10 / 12 hour shifts, including days and nights.
- Reliable and safety conscious approach to work.
- Able to make your own way to site, as transport and accommodation are not provided.
