                       Senior Controls & Automation Engineer

Are you an experienced Controls, Automation, Electrical, Robotics or Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role where you can build, programme and commission automated machinery?

Join a growing engineering business in Llanidloes and work on projects from workshop build and PLC programming through to FAT, installation and customer commissioning.

What you'll be doing

• PLC, HMI and automation programming
• Working with robotics, conveyors, pneumatics and automated machinery
• Workshop build, testing and FAT
• UK-wide installation and commissioning
• Fault finding and technical support
• Working directly with customers and mentoring junior engineers

What we're looking for
 
We're open to engineers from a range of backgrounds, including Controls, Automation, Electrical, Robotics, Commissioning and Maintenance.
 
You'll ideally have:

• Industrial automation/PLC experience
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Experience with machinery or commissioning
• A full UK driving licence is essential along with flexibility to travel across the UK
• Siemens PLC and ABB robotics experience is desirable, but not essential.

• £40,000–£60,000 + overtime
• Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:30
• Approx. 50% workshop / 50% UK site work

Based in Llanidloes, with relocation considered for the right candidate.
