Quality Assurance Technologist
Location: Pembrokeshire, onsite
HOURS: Rotational shift pattern
Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 + benefits
Our client operates within the food manufacturing sector in Pembrokeshire and is looking to expand their Quality team with the addition of a Quality Assurance Technologist.
Job Description / The Role This role supports the site’s Quality and Food Safety systems, ensuring compliance with BRCGS standards, customer requirements, and food safety legislation. You’ll work closely with production teams to maintain product quality, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities - Support and maintain the Food Safety & Quality Management System
- Carry out routine quality checks and product testing
- Complete internal audits and support corrective actions
- Assist with external audits (BRCGS and customer)
- Investigate non conformances and out of spec results
- Release raw materials and finished products
- Maintain calibration and testing records
What We Need From You - Experience in food manufacturing (ideally high-care or dairy)
- Knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Experience with internal audits and non conformances
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work a rotational shift pattern
