The Company:
Our client is a Tax & Advisory firm that has set new benchmarks in the accounting industry. With an extensive, well-established client base, they specialise in Business, Strategic & Tax Advisory services, helping businesses navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve sustainable growth.
  
The Role:
Currently in expansion phase, they are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant / Assistant Manager to join their Business Services Team.
This hybrid role blends Business Services with a focus on Corporate Tax Advisory, allowing you to manage a diverse portfolio of tax and compliance clients while specialising in corporate tax strategy and advisory services. 

Duties:

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of tax and compliance clients
• Specialise in corporate tax advisory, providing tailored solutions for larger corporate clients
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements
• Advise clients on Div7A, CGT, and FBT matters, ensuring compliance and optimization
• Conduct research and draft complex corporate tax advice, including international tax laws and GST matters
• Design and implement domestic and international tax policies and strategies to optimise compliance and efficiency
• Evaluate and refine managerial processes to align with relevant statutes and regulatory codes
• Supervise and guide junior accountants, fostering professional growth
• Coordinate workflow and quality control for offshore team deliverables
• Work on advisory projects 

About You:

• Experience in a Public Practice or Chartered Accounting firm
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion)
• Strong proficiency in Xero and Excel
• In-depth knowledge of tax advisory and financial reporting
• Prior experience leading and mentoring junior team members (preferred)
