Our client is a mid-tier Tax and Advisory Co. with a broad client base. They do more than just accounting and wealth management—they are trusted advisors to family-run businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

Our client are looking for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeping Manager to join the team. If you're someone who’s confident with the technical side of bookkeeping but is ready to move beyond the day-to-day data entry and focus more on leading people, improving systems, and building client relationships, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead, support, and mentor a team of bookkeepers, helping to deliver timely, accurate work to our clients.
• Be the main point of contact for clients when it comes to their bookkeeping needs.
• Review team output, solve technical challenges, and make sure we’re consistently delivering top-quality service.
• Work closely with our accounting and advisory teams to provide well-rounded support to clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes to boost efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong bookkeeping background, ideally with experience in a client-facing or public practice setting.
• Confident with Xero and its add-ons; familiarity with other cloud-based tools is a plus.
• A natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Someone who communicates well and enjoys getting to know clients and their businesses.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to quality and teamwork.
