Our client Richmond Community Services Inc. (RCSI) is looking for a passionate and proactive professional to grow funding streams and build meaningful local partnerships that support children, families, and seniors across the Hawkesbury.
About the Opportunity…
This newly created position is central to RCSI’s long-term sustainability and growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, writing high-quality grant applications, and developing sponsorships with local businesses and corporate partners. Your work will help increase the organisation’s capacity to deliver impactful community programs now and into the future.
You’ll also play a key role in strengthening RCSI’s presence across the region—cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships, tailoring sponsorship packages, and working collaboratively with staff to identify initiatives suitable for support.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Officer and program teams to ensure funding proposals reflect local needs, build relationships with government, businesses, and community stakeholders, and enhance RCSI’s visibility as a trusted community leader.

- There is 1 vacancy being advertised
- Part Time, 12-month contract
- 18 hours per week (days negotiable)
- SCHADS Award Level 5 (dependant on experience)
- Based in Richmond, however travel may be required for community-based and outreach work

Selection Criteria… - Demonstrated experience in partnership development or stakeholder engagement
- Proven success in grant writing, proposal writing, or tender preparation
- Strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector, including governance and ethical considerations
- Knowledge of the Hawkesbury community (or willingness to learn quickly)
- High level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and policy to identify funding and community opportunities
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Experience working in a small not for profit organisation (desirable)
- Skills in budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting (desirable)
- Existing networks within the Hawkesbury and/or Western Sydney region (desirable)
