Our client, Healthy Connections Clinical Psychology (HCCP) is growing, and they are looking for more warm and skilled therapists to join their practice. About the Opportunity…
HCCP works with people across the lifespan—offering individual, couples, and family therapy, psychometric testing, supervision, and student placements. They are particularly interested in someone with experience or a strong interest in one of these areas:

• Eating disorders
• Developmental trauma
• Child therapy (preschool to Year 6)

  
You’ll enjoy a diverse caseload, with a strong focus on working with your preferred client group and therapeutic modalities. They will support you to build a schedule that reflects your strengths and interests.
  
  
The details…

• This is a contractor role (ABN required)
• Minimum requirement of two days per week (6 client hours per day)
• Weekdays and Saturdays available

  
  
About the organisation…
HCCP is located in the Lower Blue Mountains (just 10 minutes west of Penrith and the Nepean River). They work with people across all stages of the lifespan and strive to be an integral part of the community. They offer individual, couples and family therapy, psychometric testing, clinical student placements, and board-approved supervision. The current team includes therapists with a wide range of interests and practice from an array of therapeutic modalities.

• A strong advocate for their clients, with a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic style
• Committed to ongoing learning and reflective practice
• Emotionally mature, with the ability to hold space for others—and for themselves
• Confident working independently but values being part of a close-knit, supportive team

  
Selection Criteria…

• Tertiary qualifications at Masters level in either:
  • Professional Psychology
  • Psychology, preferably with endorsement or eligibility for endorsement in either:
    • Clinical Psychology; or
    • Educational and Developmental Psychology; or
    • Counselling Psychology
  • 3 or more years of private practice experience
• Interest/expertise in treatment of one or more of the following:
  • eating disorders
  • developmental trauma/PTSD/cPTSD
  • child therapy (preschool-yr 6)
• Full Ahpra registration, and Medicare Provider Number
• NSW Working with Children Check clearance
• Australian Business Number
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
