We are excited to assist one of Ireland's leading grocery retailers, with multiple award-winning accolades for their exceptional bakery items and appetising fresh food. Our client is looking for an experienced Deli or Fresh Food candidate to lead the team in a busy Deli Department. The store is located on a 25 minutes' drive from Lucan and a 20 minutes' drive from Maynooth and surrounding areas. This job requires previous knowledge of food safety standards; stock takes and training staff. An ideal candidate will help Deli Manager run the Deli efficiently, help with day-to-day operations and ensuring daily food production and sales production targets are accomplished. Requirements for Retail Deli Supervisor Job Co. Meath

• Previous experience working in a Deli or a busy high-pressured food retail environment 
• Experience with stock control and ordering food products.
• Good customer service and attention to cleanliness and food presentation.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities of  Retail Deli Supervisor Job Co. Meath

• Strong organisational and stock control skills, including ordering fresh food products.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and fresh food displays.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Support the Deli Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy deli, including ready meals, hot food, cold food, and salad bar.
• Supervise 4-6 staff members, organise workloads, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Work with the Retail Manager to monitor sales, manage stock levels, and reduce waste.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP records are up to date.
• Maintain high standards across all deli departments and ensure staff meet expectations.
• Train and support deli staff to follow procedures and improve department performance.
