This is a premier opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Supermarket Manager with a passion for fresh food and team leadership. You will oversee a dynamic, large, fast-paced fresh food supermarket store, with a team of over 150+ employees, including HODs and a highly regarded fresh food division that is one of the best in the country.
As Store Manager, you will play a critical role in driving commercial performance, maintaining exceptional standards, and inspiring a high-energy, customer-focused team. You'll be at the forefront of a business known for excellence, innovation, and long-term career development.
We are looking for not only a proven and seasoned retail leader, but a community leader as well, a passion for community initiatives such as local sports would be a major advantage.

Package & Benefits Salary: up to €75,000- €85,000 DOE, bonus, including 25 days annual leave and other co perks.
Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job: - Oversee the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the retail store, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all departments and overall premises.
- Drive the stores commercial performance by maximising profitability and sales, while effectively controlling key cost areas such as waste, shrinkage, and labour.
- Lead and develop the team to deliver exceptional standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene, maintaining and enhancing the brands reputation.
- Manage all HR and Health & Safety matters within the store, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.
Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job: - Proven experience as a Retail Grocery Manager or senior Assistant Manager in a comparable retail supermarket environment, high turnover, commercial and big box preferably, with a minimum of 5 years in senior grocery management
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead, develop, and motivate teams including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, deli chargehands, and other senior staff.
- Commercially astute, with a track record of identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth, managing costs effectively, and leveraging supplier relationships to benefit the business.
- Solid working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
