Role Details
- SCHADS Level 6: approx. $$51.90 per hour + super
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 per year (increase your take-home pay)
- Contract until December 2026
- Full-time role: Monday–Friday (8:30am–4:30pm)
- Office-based with travel required between Tweed, Ballina, and Casino

About the Role: As the
Team Leader – Women’s DFV, you will lead and support a team delivering
person-centered case management to women and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness due to DFV.
You will oversee service delivery across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality, culturally safe, and trauma-informed practice.
Key responsibilities include: - Leading, mentoring, and supervising Program Workers
- Overseeing case management quality and service delivery outcomes
- Supporting complex case decisions and escalation points
- Driving consistent, trauma-informed and culturally safe practices
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and community partners
- Monitoring performance, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Contributing to service improvement and operational planning
About You You’re an experienced leader with strong sector knowledge and a passion for supporting vulnerable communities.
To be successful, you will bring: - Proven experience in case management within DFV, housing, or homelessness
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a community services setting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
- Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed practice
Qualifications: - Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Important Requirements: - Valid driver’s licence
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Ability to work face-to-face with clients and teams (office-based role)
