Indigeco is recruiting an APS5 Case Manager for our Australian Government client in Melbourne. This is a 12-month contract with the option to extend for a further two 12 month periods. Working within a regulatory operations environment, you will manage a caseload, assess information, support decision making and provide high quality service to stakeholders in line with legislation, policy and procedural requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a caseload of matters in line with legislative, policy and procedural requirements
• Assess information, review documentation and make evidence based recommendations or decisions within delegation
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements and progress matters
• Prepare written correspondence, file notes, case updates and briefing material with strong attention to detail
• Identify risks, issues and sensitive matters, escalating where required to support timely and appropriate outcomes
• Maintain accurate records across internal systems while ensuring confidentiality, security and data integrity
• Contribute to team performance, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the case management function

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

• You hold a current Baseline security clearance or above
• Previous experience in case management, regulatory operations, compliance, claims, investigations, government administration or a similar decision making environment
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and professional correspondence
• Ability to interpret legislation, policies, guidelines or procedures and apply them consistently
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage sensitive or complex enquiries professionally

• Hourly payrate of $60 per hour + Super
