About the Role: Our State Gov client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Performance Officer to support the delivery of maintenance programs and asset projects across the Southern Region.

Location: Orange, NSW (Hybrid WFH)
Pay Rate: $61.50/hour + super (PAYG only)
Term: Contract until 30 June 2026 (potential extension)

This is a key role responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard through effective planning, inspection, and contractor management. You will play a critical part in delivering maintenance programs including vacant property works, modifications, and complaint management while supporting the successful delivery of contracted services.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope maintenance works accurately and in line with program requirements
• Develop and manage planned maintenance programs using PAS data and local insights
• Coordinate and monitor delivery of maintenance works and resolve issues as they arise
• Conduct property inspections, ensuring compliance with required standards and timeframes
• Ensure all works comply with Australian Building Codes, policies, and contract requirements
• Build strong relationships with contractors to support effective service delivery
• Identify and address compliance issues, including issuing notices where required
• Provide recommendations to improve asset performance and maintenance outcomes

About You

• Experience in asset management, property maintenance, or similar field
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of building codes, compliance, and maintenance standards
• Proven ability to manage contractor relationships and resolve issues effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Requirements

• Valid White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence

Working Arrangements

• 35-hour work week (7 hours per day)
• Hybrid model:
  • 3 days in office one week / 2 days the next (may vary based on business needs)
