Indigeco is proud to be partnering with one of Australia's most trusted and nationally recognised insurance providers to appoint a standout Claims Advisor to their specialist Common Law Team. This is a rare opening in a small, high-performing unit that operates at the complex end of the CTP claims spectrum.  
  
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CTP Claims Advisor, you will manage a portfolio of between 20 and 40 Comprehensive Third Party (CTP) personal injury claims at any one time, working directly with solicitors, direct claimants, healthcare providers, rehabilitation specialists, and internal stakeholders.
What the team has consistently found is that candidates with a legal foundation adapt to the claim’s environment far more readily than the reverse.
  
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing a portfolio of Common Law CTP claims from initial intake through to negotiated resolution, maintaining regular and proactive contact throughout the life of each claim
• Reviewing and analysing complex medical, financial, rehabilitative, and investigative documentation to accurately assess the validity and value of claims
• Developing and executing tailored resolution strategies in accordance with relevant legislation, compliance obligations, and internal guidelines
• Liaising directly with solicitors, direct claimants, treating healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to progress claims efficiently and with care
• Conducting high-volume written and verbal correspondence to a professional standard, including review and approval of treatment plans and delivery of clear decisions to customers

  
WHAT YOU NEED

• You bring a background in law, whether as a recent graduate, paralegal, legal secretary, or other legal professional, or you have hands-on experience managing CTP, personal injury, or personal insurance claims
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to absorb complex information quickly, synthesise it clearly, and make well-reasoned and defensible decisions under pressure
• Your written and verbal communication is precise and professional, and you are comfortable corresponding with solicitors, medical specialists, and injured customers with equal confidence
• You are energetic, detail-oriented, and resilient, capable of managing a substantial portfolio in a fast-paced and high-volume environment without losing quality or composure
• A tertiary qualification in law, insurance, or allied health is advantageous and will be well regarded, though it is not a mandatory requirement
