We are currently recruiting multiple HR Advisors – Redeployment & Change to join a major NSW Government workforce transition program.
This is a hands-on role supporting employees and leaders through redeployment, organisational change, and transition processes within a large and complex environment.
The Role:
As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with impacted employees and stakeholders to manage redeployment, excess, and transition activities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth workforce movement, supporting individuals through change, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
This position sits at the intersection of HR Advisory and Talent Acquisition, requiring both stakeholder engagement and process coordination capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end support to employees and managers through redeployment, excess, and change processes
- Identify and facilitate suitable job matches across the organisation
- Coordinate internal mobility and priority assessment processes
- Support employees with resume writing, interview preparation, and job applications
- Deliver briefings and guidance on redeployment and transition policies
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units
- Track and manage workforce transition data, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery
About You You are an experienced HR or Talent professional with a strong background in workforce transition, redeployment, or organisational change.
You’re confident working in complex environments, comfortable managing sensitive situations, and able to balance empathy with process-driven outcomes.
Key Requirements - Demonstrated experience in an HR Advisor or Talent Acquisition role
- Exposure to redeployment, redundancy, or organisational change processes
- Experience working within a large, complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with reporting, coordination, and policy-driven processes
Highly Desirable - NSW Government or public sector experience
- Experience supporting workforce restructures or transition programs
- Experience delivering training, briefings, or policy guidance
- Strong data tracking and reporting capability
