ABOUT THE ROLE
Indigeco is recruiting Warehouse professionals for our client in Adelaide. This is a great opportunity for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidate looking to build on existing warehouse experience or bring transferable skills from a hands on, fast paced or operational environment.
Reporting into the warehouse leadership team, this role is focused on receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and accurate inventory recording to support smooth daily operations and strong customer outcomes.
  
WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods accurately and on time in line with customer and operational requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems and tools to support stock control and reporting
• Process customer orders efficiently while meeting required quality, accuracy and service standards
• Package orders appropriately to minimise waste, reduce damage and ensure goods are delivered in good condition
• Work closely with team leaders and warehouse colleagues to help achieve optimal output across the shift
• Apply problem solving skills to support smooth warehouse operations and resolve day to day issues
• Contribute to a positive team culture while upholding safe work practices, quality expectations and customer service standards

  
WHAT YOU NEED

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity
• Experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, manufacturing, retail stock, hospitality back of house or another hands on environment with transferable skills
• Ability to work in an onsite warehouse role in Adelaide
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes, procedures and safety requirements
• Ability to manage competing priorities and complete tasks accurately in a fast paced environment
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to learning systems, completing required training and contributing to a supportive team culture
