NHR Staffing Group is recruiting qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs) across Perth and regional Western Australia!

Position Summary:
This role focuses on providing specialised, person-centred assessments and interventions to enhance clients’ functional capacity, safety, and overall quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and engage with clients, families, carers, and service providers to deliver holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive in-home occupational therapy assessments, including cognitive assessments, falls risk evaluations, and functional capacity reviews.
• Develop and implement client-centred care plans with measurable goals, including recommendations for assistive technology and home modifications.
• Educate clients, families, carers, and service providers regarding assessment outcomes and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning meetings and liaise with external agencies as required.
• Support ongoing professional development, mentoring, and contribute to clinical research initiatives.
• Uphold organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of aged care systems and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Clearance and Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
• Eligible to work in Australia.

Experience:

• Experience in Aged Care or Disability is preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a mobile caseload efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
