Location: Central London - 3 days a week in the office minimum (with 2 days wfh)

Our client produces two of the most talked-about podcast and video shows in the space - both weekly, conversation-led formats fronted by well-known broadcasting and cultural talent. Between them the shows produce 52 episodes a year, with additional social and subscription content, and a third weekly show is in development for the autumn.

Both shows already draw significant inbound interest from talent and PRs, but it's important to maintain a high calibre and range of guests, whilst also supporting the smooth running of an always-on production schedule.

This is a permanent, full-time position, based in the office three days a week. The role sits right at the heart of the business: booking and coordinating guests across two (soon to be three) shows that between them need over 100 guests a year, with a rolling requirement to keep roughly two weeks of runway booked at all times.
  
It's genuinely a hybrid role. Part relationships and guest booking, part logistics and production scheduling. There are no fixed studio days in the way a traditional TV production has them. Guest, host and recording-day availability all move around each other, so this role is constantly solving a live jigsaw puzzle: once one guest is confirmed for a day, the rest of that day has to be filled to make it work editorially and economically.
  
Once a guest is booked, the wider production team takes over communications (prep questions, contributor forms, travel, on-the-day logistics and follow-up), so this role is focused specifically and relentlessly on securing the right guests, on the right days, at the right pace.
  
What you'll do

• Own the guest booking pipeline across both shows (and the third once live), keeping a rolling minimum of two weeks of guests confirmed.
• Build and maintain relationships with PRs, agents and managers, converting inbound and outbound approaches into confirmed bookings.
• Solve the logistics puzzle day to day: matching guest and host availability against a flexible but rhythmic recording pattern, and filling every recording day once triggered by a first confirmed guest.
• Apply editorial judgement to guest selection. Understanding the tone and audience of each show and matching talent accordingly, including redirecting guests who aren't right for one show towards another.
• Actively manage diversity and range across the guest slate, rather than defaulting to the easiest or most available bookings.
• Give the founders realistic, honest read-outs on likelihood and timing for each guest in play, not a simple yes or no.
• Once the third show is confirmed, help shape how guest booking scales as a function

Must have experience

• Highly experienced in guest booking, talent booking or a closely related production coordination role, ideally across fast-paced, high-volume formats.
• Strong existing relationships with PRs, agents and talent representatives.
• A good understanding of production logistics and scheduling, and genuine comfort holding many moving parts (and many conversations) at once.
• Sound editorial and cultural judgement, able to read tone and match guests to the right show.
• Resilient, optimistic and full of energy, with a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving.
• Confident communicating honestly upwards, including flagging problems early rather than letting them surface as a surprise.
