The Company
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an incentives and conferencing agency. Our client is looking for a Senior Event Producer to join their agency in a FT capacity. The client is an international agency delivering full-service B2B conferences, global summits, awards, corporate events and meetings for global brands.
The Role
The Senior Event Producer will work directly with the client to project manage a range of corporate conferences, meetings, summits and virtual/hybrid events. The Senior Event Producer will support the Head of Production with the day to day delivery of all events, managing the logistics, technical production, AV, and vendors to bring the events to life! The Senior Event Producer will have a solid production and technical background, encompassing various event technology systems, digital products and vendors utilized in creating and supporting live events.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating all aspects of events from concept through to onsite event delivery
- Day to day client communications
- Managing project schedules, internal teams and freelance staff
- Managing project budgets and timelines to ensure financial profitability and value for clients
- Contracting and managing vendors/suppliers including venues, audio visual, and technical staff
- Managing all aspects of corporate conferences and events (live and virtual): plenary sessions, speakers, videos, presentations, awards, networking, breakout sessions
- Conducting site inspections and client presentations
- Research, evaluate and work closely with vendors to ensure projects are implemented on time, within scope, and within budget using proven project management and development methodology.
- Providing support to clients and ensuring their expectations are met
This Job is Ideal for Someone who has - 5-7 years agency experience, preferably as a Producer or Senior Producer
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients
- Project management experience across the spectrum of corporate summits, conferences, tradeshows, awards, incentives, live productions highly desired
- Solid background in events management and events production
- Experience delivering virtual events across the corporate and B2B sector, from large-scale conferences to webinars to intimate networking and breakout sessions
- Solid background and technical understanding of AV, video production for live and virtual events
- Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Strong project management skills
- Strong staff management experience
- Strong Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure agency environment
- Excellent computer skills
- Proven experience managing large event production budgets
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Flexible, dependable, detail orientated, innovative, motivated and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional events
- A thorough understanding of permitting standards and procurement
- Strong desire to work with a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced agency environment.
- The Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; as well as participate in overnight travel for events
- Local and interstate travel may be required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 + benefits annually, dependent on experience. The salary is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations. This is the anticipated base salary component of the total compensation package, which may include additional company benefits such as bonuses, commission, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.
