The Company
Our Client is a B2B conference organizer based in Manhattan, New York. They are looking for a proven Client Success Manager - Events to join their team in a FT capacity. The company delivers B2B and executive conferences, networking events, webinars and media products globally for a diverse portfolio of industries.
The Role
The Client Success Manager - Events sits within Client Success/Sponsorship Team. The Client Success Manager will function as the main point of contact for event sponsors, responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service for sponsors throughout the delivery of all conferences, networking events and executive events.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as main point of contact and communications with event sponsor throughout the full event cycle
- Managing sponsor delivery and requirements to ensure sponsor expectations and client needs are met
- Delivering high ROI for sponsors, prioritizing client concerns and monitoring client satisfaction
- Owning full-cycle event management through to final reporting
- Acting as main point of contact for event attendees
- Collaborating across departments (Conference Production, Research, Marketing, Sponsorship Sales and Delegate Sales) to ensure all deliverables are in order and sponsors needs are met
- Coordinating with Marketing team to ensure all aspects of event and creative are in line with company and client brand guidelines
- Providing all post event reports for the business
This Job is Ideal for Someone who has - 3-5 years experience in event management, ideally in conferences, meetings, and corporate events
- Proven background in sponsorship management
- Excellent client facing skills and experience managing client projects, demands and expectations
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for conferences and events and drive to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication, time management, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Mac applications)
- Budget management experience
- Local and interstate travel may be required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in communications, business, hospitality, event management or related fields
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 + benefits + up to $5,000 bonus potential annually, dependent on experience. The salary is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations. This is the anticipated base salary component of the total compensation package, which may include additional company benefits such as bonuses, commission, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.
