Our Client is a luxury experiential agency based in New York and they are looking for a Director of Production - Experiential to join their team. The client is an exciting agency creating experiences from live events to activations with leading brand across lifestyle, luxury and fashion.
The Role
The Director of Production - Experiential will be responsible for leading the production team and managing all production for events and experiential from ideation to execution. This role will be highly client facing and will work closely with the creative team and senior leadership to pitch and win new business and to deliver a range of campaigns and projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the execution of all events and experiential activations for the business
- Ability to conceive, develop and implement programs that build client brands and provide a foundation to drive client business growth
- Ensure all creative solutions are aligned with our clients vision, goals and business strategies
- Manage a team of production staff
- Ensure that all team members are meeting and adhering to project timelines, production schedules, critical paths, and supplier contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (both on-site and remotely) in delivering the event campaign from conception to execution
- Overall management of vendor and supplier contracts/negotiations
- Oversee all project budgets, schedules, timelines, and KPIs to ensure profitability and value for clients
- Ensure all events are aligned with our clients business strategies
- Manage and support the senior leadership and creative team with all proposal writing, pitches, RFPs, decks and briefs
- Reports to the CEO
This Job is Ideal for Someone who has - Proven experience working as a Director of Production, Director of Experiential, Executive Producer or similar role
- 10+ years experience in Event production within the creative, brand experiences and experiential space
- Experience with global entertainment, lifestyle and luxury brands a plus
- Staff management experience building and leading Production and Cross-functional teams
- Agency background required
- Proven experience creating and executing mid to large scale experiential events, campaigns, conferences, festivals and activations
- Strong Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
- Exceptional experience managing, writing and responding to Client briefs and RFPs
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders including event operations, technical, marketing and creative teams
- Proven experience being the voice for the company and maintaining exceptional client relationships
- Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Exceptional project management skills
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure agency environment
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Strong desire to work with a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced agency environment.
- The Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; as well as participate in overnight travel for events
- Local and interstate travel may be required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
The anticipated base salary for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits annually, dependent on experience. The salary is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations. This is the anticipated base salary component of the total compensation package, which may include additional company benefits such as bonuses, commission, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.
