At Perks, we're growing and looking for an Accountant with 2-5 years' experience to join our Business Services team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
• Prepare BAS, IAS and PAYG Instalments, and assist with tax planning and interim accounts
• Support clients with management reporting, budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Liaise directly with clients and assist with a broad range of tax and business matters
• Work alongside Directors and Managers on advisory projects and client engagements
• Mentor and support junior team members in their development
• Assist with client onboarding, ATO and ASIC matters, and maintaining client records
• Attend client meetings and support follow-up actions and correspondence

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years' experience in a public practice accounting environment
• Business / Commerce / Accounting degree qualified
• CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
