About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper who’s passionate about client service and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with a broad range of clients, managing their bookkeeping needs while also supporting and guiding team members.
You’ll take ownership of workflow coordination, delegate tasks effectively, review the work of team members, and provide support to help them problem solve and continuously improve. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team while developing leadership capability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and timely communication
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare reconciliations (bank and general ledger), BAS statements, and short-term cash flows
- Allocate and review work across the team
- Support team members in resolving issues and improving processes
- Compile and deliver accurate financial reports
Skills and ExperienceSome of the skills, experience and attributes that we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
- Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, client-focused mindset
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confidence using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead
