Our Location: Our Alexandra Gardens facility is a 94-bed aged care community in Rockhampton, designed for a more personal, home-like experience. Divided into five smaller households, each with its own kitchen, lounge, and dining area, the single-level layout is filled with greenery and natural light. Built on values of compassion, grace, and inclusivity, it's a place where residents truly feel at home.
The Role: As the RN Quality & Training, you will play a key role in supporting quality care outcomes, staff education, and compliance within the home. You will be responsible for coordinating staff induction and training, conducting quality audits and competency assessments, and supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies. Working collaboratively with the leadership team, you will help promote continuous improvement and best practice across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring compliance with policies and standards
- Coordinating induction for new staff
- Delivering one-on-one and group education sessions to all levels of staff
- Conducting and reporting on quality audits
- Conducting staff competency testing
This is a part-time opportunity of 45.6 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential aged care setting (2 years preferred)
- NDIS Worker Clearance - MANDATORY https://workerscreening.dsdsatsip.qld.gov.au/
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and commitment to resident-first care.
- An understanding of the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS)
- A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate and Empathetic nature
