Senior Project Manager – Insurance 6-Month Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a key insurance initiative from discovery and scoping through to mobilisation and delivery.

Working closely with a Business Program Manager, you’ll take ownership of the technology delivery for a commercial insurance product initiative within a large, established organisation.

The Role

• Lead the initiative through discovery, scoping and mobilisation
• Partner with the Business Program Manager to align business and technology delivery
• Define current state, requirements, scope and key dependencies
• Work across Product, Underwriting, Operations and Technology
• Shape the roadmap and build a clear, executable delivery plan
• Manage senior stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners
• Own risks, issues, dependencies and project governance
• Drive the initiative from discovery → mobilisation → delivery/run

What We’re Looking For

• Insurance experience is essential
• Strong Senior Project Manager with a technology/change delivery background
• Proven experience leading projects through the discovery and definition phase
• Commercial or Business Package insurance experience highly regarded
• Strong business and technology stakeholder management
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and bringing structure to early-stage initiatives
• Strong delivery focus with the ability to move seamlessly from discovery into execution
