Pre-sales Architect / Advisory - Digital Workplace

The Opportunity 

A rare chance to step into a dedicated Client Architect role on a major, long-term public sector account. This isn't a revolving-door consulting role — you'll be the go-to technical authority for a named government client, providing end-to-end architectural leadership across their Digital Workplace environment. 
If you're an experienced Digital Workplace architect who enjoys building deep client relationships, shaping complex solutions, and driving real outcomes — this role was built for you. 

The role: 

• Act as the dedicated solution architect for a named public sector client, working directly with CTOs and senior stakeholders 
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable Digital Workplace solutions 
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and technical reviews with client and internal teams 
• Develop solution designs, cost models, pricing inputs, ROI analysis, and Statements of Work 
• Drive continuous improvement across service quality, user experience, and operational efficiency 
• Identify and manage solution, delivery, commercial, and security risks throughout the engagement lifecycle 
• Partner with Account, Delivery, and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are competitive, viable, and aligned to contractual commitments 

Experience needed: 

• 10+ years in solution architecture, presales, or managed services within a Digital Workplace or End User Services environment 
• Strong technical background across Field Services, Modern Device Management (SOE, application packaging), and Unified Communications (Microsoft 365, directory and certificate services) 
• Experience developing operating models, service scope, transition plans, assumptions, and risk profiles 
• Commercial acumen — able to balance outcomes, cost, quality, risk, and delivery feasibility 
• Confident, polished client-facing presence with the ability to influence at senior and executive level 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — proposals, SOWs, executive presentations
