Solution Architect – Finance 

Enterprise Transformation Program

We're partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a significant transformation of its Finance and People landscape.

This program is focused on simplifying and modernising a complex environment of legacy Finance, HR and Corporate Services systems, consolidating multiple platforms, processes and integrations into a new enterprise ERP and HRIS ecosystem.

As the Solution Architect, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future-state architecture, designing end-to-end solutions and guiding the organisation through the transition from a fragmented legacy environment to a modern, integrated platform.

This is a highly business-facing role requiring close partnership with Finance, People & Culture, Payroll, Procurement and Corporate Services stakeholders, alongside system integrators and delivery teams.
The Opportunity The organisation currently operates a number of legacy and disparate Finance, Payroll, HR and Corporate Services applications that have evolved over time.

This transformation will establish a modern ERP and HRIS platform, standardise business processes, simplify integrations, improve reporting and data quality, and create a scalable foundation for future growth.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the solution architecture supports both immediate program outcomes and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture across a major Finance and HR transformation program.
• Define end-to-end architecture spanning ERP, HRIS, Payroll, Procurement, Reporting, Integration and Data domains.
• Translate Finance and People business requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Drive consolidation of legacy applications and business processes into a modern target-state architecture.
• Design integration patterns and data flows across Finance, HR and enterprise systems.
• Partner closely with Finance, Payroll, Procurement, HR and Corporate Services leaders.
• Collaborate with System Integrators and vendors to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design assurance and governance activities throughout delivery.
• Manage architecture risks, dependencies and solution decisions across multiple workstreams.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and future-state technology strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering solution architecture on large-scale ERP, HRIS or Finance transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Payroll, HR and Corporate Services business processes.
• Experience replacing, consolidating or modernising legacy Finance and HR platforms.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise integrations, data migration and application rationalisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work directly with senior Finance and HR leaders.
• Experience working alongside major System Integrators and third-party vendors.
• Strong architecture governance and solution assurance capability.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• SuccessFactors
