Project Manager - Data Transformation
Sydney | Hybrid Working | 12-Month Contract
We're partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a significant multi-year transformation and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic data initiatives across multiple business units.
This is a high-profile role working across senior leadership, technology and business stakeholders, helping drive complex transformation outcomes in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of key data transformation initiatives, managing delivery across multiple business units and stakeholder groups. Success in this role will require strong programme leadership, exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex organisational structures while driving outcomes through both business and technology teams.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Project Manager who has successfully delivered enterprise-scale transformation programmes and is comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex data transformation initiatives
- Work closely with senior executives and business leaders to align delivery with strategic objectives
- Manage programme governance, reporting, risks, issues, budgets and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology functions
- Drive collaboration and alignment across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
- Facilitate agile delivery practices and support modern ways of working
- Ensure delivery milestones, outcomes and benefits are achieved
- Provide clear communication and reporting to executive leadership and steering committees
Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programmes as a Project Manager
- Strong background in data, technology or business transformation initiatives
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple business units
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and challenge senior executives
- Strong governance, planning, financial management and delivery capability
- Experience working within Agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate autonomously while driving outcomes across large, federated organisations
