General Manager of Software Engineering to lead and scale our global engineering function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting engineering standards, driving delivery excellence, and building a high-performing, connected engineering community.

You will combine strong technical credibility with proven experience leading large, distributed teams and influencing at executive level.
What you’ll be responsible for

• Lead and inspire large software engineering teams across multiple locations
• Set and uplift engineering standards, practices and ways of working
• Define and execute a clear engineering strategy aligned to business goals
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and modern engineering practices
• Partner with senior stakeholders across product, architecture and delivery
• Represent engineering at executive level and influence company-wide decisions

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in software engineering with a strong technical foundation
• 5+ years in a senior engineering leadership role managing large teams
• Proven experience scaling teams and driving change in complex environments
• Strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working in global or distributed organisations
