Project Manager - Consumer Finance (Vendor Management Focus)

�� North Sydney | �� 12-month Max Term | 4 days in office

We're working with a fast-growing FinTech lender specialising in consumer finance. They're looking for a Project Manager with experience in consumer lending to deliver critical initiatives across products, platforms, and operations. This role is particularly focused on vendor management, ensuring that third-party providers deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across lending operations, credit, and product functions
• Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners, ensuring contracts, SLAs, and delivery milestones are met
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver smooth project execution
• Develop project plans, track progress, and report on risks, dependencies, and budgets
• Ensure projects comply with consumer lending regulations and support a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

• Strong project management experience in consumer finance / unsecured lending
• Proven track record in vendor and third-party management (contracts, negotiations, performance oversight)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced FinTech environment
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in consumer credit (NCCP Act, RG 209) is highly regarded
