Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, targeting new merchant partners in the home improvement and education spaces. You’ll engage directly with merchants, using a consultative sales approach to show them how our lending solutions can supercharge their sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage with high-potential merchants in home improvement and education.
• Drive phone-based outreach, hitting KPIs for calls, demos, and conversions.
• Build lasting relationships with merchants, guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with the product team to tailor our solutions to merchant needs.
• Negotiate and close deals with an eye on long-term partnerships.
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategy to stay ahead of competitors.
• Hit and exceed KPIs, including phone calls, meetings, and revenue targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or merchant acquisition (preferably within FinTech or financial services).
• Strong phone-based sales experience with a track record of meeting KPIs.
• Deep understanding of the home improvement and education sectors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of consumer lending solutions is a bonus.
