Job Purpose: The Senior Manager of IT Operations manages the organization's live technology environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and effective IT infrastructure, networks, applications, cloud services, and end-user technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

• Develop IT operational plans aligned with the IT strategy and roadmap.
• Improve service reliability, cybersecurity, user support, and efficiency.
• Recommend technology investments, improvements, and resource needs.
• Support technology transformation and major business initiatives.

Functional Management

• Lead IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, applications, and end-user services.
• Manage service desk, incidents, changes, releases, and escalations.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and service quality.
• Manage maintenance, upgrades, backups, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
• Manage vendors, licenses, telecom providers, and outsourced services.
• Maintain IT assets, configurations, documentation, and support procedures.

Governance & Performance

• Maintain IT policies, controls, service standards, and escalation processes.
• Monitor SLAs, incidents, security, change performance, and user satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage technology risks, audits, resilience, and operational readiness.
• Report IT performance, incidents, risks, and improvement progress.

Stakeholder Management

• Work with business functions to address technology requirements and issues.
• Collaborate with IT strategy, Digital & Innovation, Solutions & Partnerships, and GRC teams.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Communicate changes, incidents, risks, and service improvements.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team.
• Set team objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Ensure technical capability, coverage, and knowledge continuity.
• Promote accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, COBIT, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or equivalent are preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
• At least 5 years in a senior IT management or leadership role.
• Experience leading complex, business-critical, and high-availability technology environments.
• Proven track record in technology transformation, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and IT service improvement.
