Our Client in the Retail / Space Office is hiring for the position of Head of General Manager

Role Purpose :
The General Manager (GM) is the single executive authority responsible for the full operational and financial performance of both The Company and The Company+.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full P&L ownership, team leadership, and responsibility for execution — operating strictly within a defined governance and authority framework.
The GM reports to the Boards of Directors of both companies and is accountable for results.
Scope of Responsibility:
A. Business & Financial Performance
- Full P&L responsibility for the Company.
- Budget ownership, cost control, and cash discipline.
- Monthly financial and performance reporting to the Boards.
- Proactive identification of risks, variances, and opportunities.
B. Operations & Customer Experience
- End-to-end responsibility for business
- Service quality, member experience, and facility standards.
- Vendor, facility, and systems management.
- Operational scalability across multiple locations.
C. People & Organisation
- Full authority to hire, manage, and develop staff.
- Build a performance-driven, service-oriented culture.
- Clear accountability, structure, and succession planning.
D. Sales, Marketing & Growth Execution
- Execute sales across desks, offices, meeting rooms, and corporate clients.
- Drive occupancy, utilisation, and yield.
- Oversee marketing execution and brand consistency.
E. The Company+ Launch Readiness
- Lead operational planning and execution for The Company+ (expected Launch Nov 2026).
- Coordinate fit-out readiness, staffing, systems, and processes.
- Deliver a smooth launch and transition to steady-state operations.
F. Governance & Compliance
- Operate strictly within the approved Governance & Authority Framework.
- Ensure regulatory, labour, VAT, and compliance discipline.
- Act as the primary interface with the Boards.
Experience:
- 8-12+ years in operations-led, service-based businesses.
- Proven experience with full P&L ownership.
- Background in coworking, hospitality, retail, or multi-site services preferred.
- Experience launching or scaling a new location highly desirable.
