Our Client in the Investment Industry is hiring for the position of Head of Internal Audit

The roles and responsibilities of the internal auditor shall include but not be limited to the following:
To conduct a review of any unaudited financial statements, and comment thereon before their disclosure to the public.
Reviewing the effectiveness of the organization's code of conduct, ethics policies, complaint and whistle-blowing provisions.
Evaluating the compliance with the corporate governance process and prepare a report on the results of the evaluation to the board.
To review and examine the procedures and internal control of the company, which have been designed and implemented to ensure the company's compliance with the legal requirements, the internal regulation of the company and the procedures of the company and also to assist the management of the company in identifying the weakness in the internal controls and to recommend appropriate procedures to rectify the weaknesses.
Reviewing the compensations and benefits provided to any board member to ensure that these are in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements and are duly approved by the board of directors. This review should be conducted personally by the head of internal audit unit, if any, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of this process.
Providing information to the board and management about the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's systems of internal administrative, accounting and financing controls and the quality of operating performance of the company when compared to the established standards.
Reviewing the ways and means to safeguard the assets of the company.
Reviewing all operational areas to ensure optimum utilization of resources and compliance with established policies, procedures and internal regulations.
Opine on the manual and automated systems design to ensure they contain adequate internal controls.
Collaborate with the external auditors to provide all necessary information and cooperation that is expected from an internal auditor as per the terms of the International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Review the information security system and control system, including applications control system and the database management system to protect the security, integrity and confidentiality of the company's data.
Promoting the awareness of risk management issues.
Any other functions as decided by the audit committee/board of the company, which should not conflict with the roles of the internal auditor or affect their objectivity and independence.
