Health & Safety Manager – Residential Developer
Location: Co. Donegal
Salary: €90-€100k + Package

We are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Manager for an established residential developer delivering housing developments in Donegal Town and the surrounding region.
This is a senior position offering the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of Health & Safety across residential construction projects, working closely with the Construction Director, Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
The company has a strong pipeline of residential development and offers excellent long-term career stabilitity

• Manage and oversee Health & Safety across residential construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Review and approve RAMS, risk assessments and method statements.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards.
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain project-specific Health & Safety plans and procedures.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings where required.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Maintain H&S records, statistics and reports for senior management.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement across the company's safety systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety / Environmental Health & Safety, ideally Level 7 or Level 8.
• Minimum 5 years' Health & Safety experience within construction.
• Previous residential construction or property development experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Experience carrying out site audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Strong understanding of RAMS and construction safety documentation.
• Confident communicator capable of working with senior management, site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage Health & Safety across multiple projects where required.
• Full clean driving licence.
