Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead and coordinate on-site engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in large-scale data center construction, strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, and proven project management skills. You will ensure that all works are delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, ensuring compliance with project designs, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Monitor and report progress, including site inspections, quality assurance, and risk assessments.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
• Collaborate with project management and design teams to implement design modifications and improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, progress reports, and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in data centers or high-tech facilities.
• Strong knowledge of data center design standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942) and MEP systems.
• Proven experience in site management, scheduling, and cost control.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.
