We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering commercial construction and interior fit-out projects in Canberra.
This role is ideal for candidates currently based in Ireland or the UK who are looking to relocate and build their career in the Australian construction market.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will oversee the commercial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Contract administration across commercial construction and fit-out projects
• Procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages
• Preparation and assessment of subcontract agreements
• Managing variations, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Reviewing subcontractor claims and managing payment processes
• Assisting with project budgeting and financial reporting
• Supporting the project team with commercial and contractual matters on site
About You
• Experience as a Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
• Background in commercial construction or interior fit-out projects
• Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, and cost control
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Candidates currently based in Ireland or the UK interested in relocating to Australia are encouraged to apply
What We Offer
�� Salary: AUD $100,000 – $130,000 + Super (depending on experience)
